EVALUATION OF THE SUSCEPTIBILITY OF THE BOLL WEEVIL (Anthonomus grandis, BOHEMAN) TO MALATHION IN THE LAGUNA REGION

<p><strong>Background.</strong> Resistance to an insecticide is what determines its effectiveness and the lack of information limits in control boll weevil cotton crops. <strong>Objective.</strong> The objective study was determine susceptibility (<em>Anthonomus grandis</em> Boheman) malathion Laguna, Mexico. Currently, this pest considered as one with highest economical impact on cultivation region. <strong>Methodology.</strong> Three bioassays were carried out, state Coahuila 2017 agricultural season 2018 2019 seasons states Durango.
